Hi,

I'm another newbie. Started SBD on Tuesday, doing ok, except hate to cook so eating those low/no carb dinners, since I work at night and only have a micro, this seems to be the option that works for me. Really like the SweetnLow sugar free candy, but don't eat too much or you will do some serious bathroom time. Haven't weighed yet. No hunger or cravings for carbs, even when in sight. We're going on a cruise in March, so have a goal.

Do miss fruit. I found the food list online, do you guys find it worthwhile to actually buy the book, it looked it like a ripoff to me, lots of recipes I'll never cook. If it

s really helped people, I'll suck it up and go on Amazon. Gotta find food lists for phases 2 and 3. If anyone wants a buddy, let me know. I don't have kids and work full time and try to exercise at least 3 times a week. Good luck to all, Judy

Hi Susan, I have to admit that I've been eating Weight Watchers Smart Ones low carb dinners.Lean Cuisine makes them too. About 9 carbs in each. As I said, I hate to cook and I work fulltime, so I don't have all day to make stuff, plus, all I have at work is a microwave. I considered my first week kind of a weaning week, getting used to everything. I feel pretty good, don't feel any loss of energy. As I get used to the plan, I may be able to venture out and cook some stuff. The fact that I am not eating tons of carbs and not missing them is a miracle to me. Do miss my apples at night. Thanks for your advice, Judy
