Breakfasts and other Questions

I need some help and it was suggested that I look here. I am new to this diet; this is actually my 3rd day on it. I am having a ton of problems choking down eggs for breakfast. Water first thing in the morning has always made me sick and trying to eat eggs and water is about more than I can take. So I am wondering what other foods I might be able to eat for breakfast. Does anyone have any suggestions? What about eating peanut butter? Can we eat peanut butter? Also, has anyone heard of frying tofu to make crackers for dip? I read it on another site, but wasn't sure about the "fried" part. Is there a link somewhere on this site for all the recommended phase 1 foods....I've already messed up this week, I had refried beans on Monday night because I thought we could eat all beans! I've still lost 2 1/2 pounds so far this week, so I'm doing okay. I just need to be absolutely clear on what we can and can't eat. Thanks for all your help and I'm sorry this is so long!

Susan - I have a question about that table you posted. Under Dairy for every meal it just says See choices it does not give an amount requirement or limitation. Is there a guideline for the allowed dairy on Ph1?

I'm curious where this chart came from. I have not seen it before.

I believe that chart came from the SBD Website (that you pay for).

I make an "egg pancake" for breakfast, and it's SOOO good. I take 1 egg, 1/4 c cottage cheese, cocoa powder, and splenda and mix it all up. Melt some smart spread in a pan, and cook it like a pancake. Top with smart spread and sugar free syrup.

Thank you for all of your help. I have the book but didn't know that I could eat yogurt or drink some milk; that information in itself has been a lifesaver. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me!
