Hi,

I am new to this board.I will be starting the SBD tomorrow and i am a vegetarian(no eggs too).I would welcome any suggestions or advice or meal plan ideas.

I am starting tomorrow too! Would love to be a buddy and have a buddy too! Unfortunately I am not a vegetarian. As far a food plans go, many good ideas are listed on this board. I am going to go as basic as possible for breakfast and lunch since I have to eat these on the go/at work. Probably tomato juice with egg beaters and a slice of lunch meat and decaf tea for breakfast and lentil soup or salad topped with chicken for lunch then cheese for snacks. I am doing my official measurements and weight tonight. I am interested in a buddy to keep me honest, hopefully you are looking for the same, if so please let me know.

I would be only too happy to have you as my buddy.I havent decided about my meal plan for tomorrow.I have been going to a gym since the past 2 weeks and ill take todays weight as the starting weight.How many pounds do you need to lose.I hope you dont mind my asking.I need to lose atleast 50 pounds:(

I need to lose about 40lbs. I have been working out 3-5 days a week since seriously since October. Recently, a month ago, I upped my cardio to(45 min) 4 times a week and weights 3 times/week and yoga/flexibility once a week, I have seen little weight loss with exercise alone, but can notice I am tighter in some areas, but clothes are still tight! Very frustrating! My eating is my biggest problem:) I have tried Arkins, Body for Life. I am interested in making a life change and I think SBD is a good transition,seems doable and good for health in the long run.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you in a while, work has been busy. But I started Tuesday, everything went well. I weigh in at 183lbs in the morning. I am scared to do measurements since I took some last year at this time. I am starting to get a allergy/sinus cold, feeling a little groggy, hoping that has nothing to do with the SBD :). So far so good. How about you how did your first day go? I will probably weigh in again tomorrow (the scale is at work- I don't personally own one) If I don't hear from you or you don't hear from me before Monday, Good Luck and Have a Great weekend.
