I don't think I will have any trouble following the plan,I will have a problem giving up my cup of coffee in the morning. I mix half lead and half unleaded, I drink 1 cup, black. Has anyone else had coffee and still lost? I won't go through the headaches I get without it.Thanks in advance. Susan

Boy Cathy, you did make my day! How about avacado? I don't see it anywhere in the book. Thanks again. Susan

Coffee is in the clear. FYI when out to dinner with friends, a cup of coffee is frequently my dessert. somehow, it helps round out the dinner and keeps you from longingly looking at that cheesecake across the table on someone else's plate...

good luck!

Susan,

I started by having 1 cup of coffee in the morning to keep me going, but I've noticed I have the shakes a little after. I cut it down to 1/2 cup and I'm doing better. Eventually I hope to cut out all caffeine, I'm just doing it gradually. I'll have to cut out caffeine on the weekend when DH is around and I can rest upstairs without getting cranky in front of DD.

I think some caffeine is ok according to the book. The Dr. suggests that you have enough to deal with, that taking away caffeine is pretty hard to do all at once. I haven't read any of the other responces so I hope this helps a little.

Oh, I was drinking 4 diet cokes a day before this now I'm drinking diet Sprite. I think cola's and whatever they add to it for coloring is bad, so that's one less thing I can put in my body.
