I was thinking that they have vinagrette dressing, which is allowed (right?). But I'm not sure what exactly is on their Premium Salads. Has anyone here eaten anything at McDonald's during Phase I (e.g., patties)? I was just curious, because a bunch of people are going there from work today.

Hey there!

I actually had one lunch from McDonald's while I was on phase one, and I do believe it was P1-friendly. I got the grilled chicken ceasar salad (hold the croutons) and used probably half the packet of Newman's Own Caesar Dressing that came with it (was way more than I needed!) -- the dressing had the requisite 3g of sugar or less, and was made with olive and/or canola oil. And it was gooooooooooooooood.

This Stef agrees with the other Steph! Lol.

I just grabbed dinner from there - Chicken (grilled) Ceasar Salad - with Lite Vinegarette. Tossed the crutons & there are huge slices of carrots that also got the boot. Very good & filling. My chicken was still hot when I ate it. :thumbs up:

You can also try the California Cobb w. grilled chicken and use the light vinaigrette. It has blue cheese (which I usually don't like but it's mild) and a little chopped egg. Sometimes it comes w. croutons, sometimes it doesn't which makes them easier to skip :-).
