I am now on day 4 of P1. First day was the worst for me. Cravings seem to be gone now. I don't even want to step on a scale. My jeans feel tighter than the day before I started!!!!! I have a few questions. First of all what if I can't find sugar-free metamucil? I would like to take this. Also I can't find low fat laughing cow and ricotta cheese? What is person to do if I can't find low fat? Is 1% cottage cheese okay? Maybe this is my problem, because I am not eating low fat cheeses. I bought this stuff, which isn't cheap. I am not letting go to waste. Any adivce would be greatly appreciated. I'm to the point were I just want to give up. I haven't been exercising, but I also don't have the energy.

I use low-fat 1% cottage cheese. The issue is to use low-fat, not fat-free. If you're using full fat ricotta and other cheeses though, that could be your problem because they are very fattening. HTH.

About the bloating make sure you are getting in enough veggies, and water, and don't cut salt right now.

Its completely normal to feel exhausted the first several days especially if this is your fist time trying lo-carb! Sometimes enough to feel faint! Extremely normal. If you're tired-it means you're doing it right cause you're getting rid of the carbs and sugar in your body. But trust me one morning you're going to wake up with more energy than you'll know what to do with.
