Hello,

I’m a new Gal on this board. So impressed with this site (and THANKFUL)! My starting weight was 161 and I now I'm weighing 151 to 150 (on a great day). I feel that it’s not a whole bunch of weight loss, but I have noticed a lot of inches – is it possible??

Anyhow, I have been on phase 1 since January 19th, so this coming Monday 2/9 will make my 4th week, but I plan to start phase 2. I’m really concerned that everything I have lost will come right back. I’m so scared to give in and try the new foods on phase 2. Have any of you experienced weight gain with the new foods in phase 2? This diet has lifted my spirits and self-esteem. I’m very happy in my life (4 beautiful kids and an awesome husband) so blessed, but I was never feeling good about myself/my body. I think I have found a new friend (phase 1). As goofy as it may sound, I don’t want to loose my battle with my weight loss. I have no cravings, and SO MUCH will power.

Help I need some MAJOR MOTIVATION!!!

You will continue to lose weight when you move over to phase 2.

Hi Laura,Don't be afraid of adding carbs back. I agree with what was posted above. Go slowly in Phase 2 and remember to continue eating your snacks between meals. I say this because experience is the best teacher and I did just that. I left out snacks here and there as the good carbs I was adding back in made me feel less hungry and I started stalling. When some one on another board mentioned it to me, I started losing weight again.HTH Maryann

Thank you all for the great answers and advice!!

I love this site and all the support it has to offer.

As of this morning I weighed in and it read 148....yippee!! On Jan 19th it read 161. May I never go back to 161 - Goal weight 140-135 :)
