Day 6 and doing pretty well.....maybe 4 or 5 pounds down. I managed to pass up the cake and ice cream at a grandson's birthday party yesterday by nibbling on string cheese, pecans, or red bell pepper strips. However, I have a daily craving for sweets, especially chocolate. And I miss dried apricots which I should be able to add in Phase 2. My husband is on Atkins and has the low carb chocolate bars around. Tempting! How do the low carb bars fit into the SBD? Do I look for carb or fat amounts or just forget them altogether?

If you are craving choc try a sugar free fudgesicle or making a ricotta dessert from the SBD book and add cocoa powder to it

This is what helps me when i'm craving chocolate!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will have to make a return trip to my grocery and really scour the frozen treat aisle. All I could find on my last trip was fat free, not sugar free chocolate bars.

(And it doesn't help at all that the Food Network is having "Chocolate Week"!)
