Day 8 of Phase I - not losing at all

Any advice would be appreciated. I did actually lose 3 lbs at first, but have apparently gained them back and am SO frustrated. Here's a typical day: 1 latte with 1% milk and a quiche cup for breakfast, another quiche cup for a snack, caesar salad with crab + some lowfat cheese for lunch, 2 turkey rollups (or baby carrots and 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese) for afternoon snack, chicken baked in marinara sauce + salad and brocolli for dinner, ricotta cream or sugar-free, lowfat ice cream for dessert. All of the above are in normal portion sizes.
I'm still nursing my baby, but thought that would help, not hinder weight loss. Before starting SBD I ate dessert at least once a day if not more (i.e., cookie in the afternoon, something sweet after dinner), and ate a lot of pasta, crackers, etc. Since starting SBD I've had almost zero bad carbs - no potatoes, bread, baked goods, corn, not even a single grain of rice, no sugar, only a 1/2 glass of wine in 8 days, no fruit.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????
Thanks for your help.

Hi and welcome!
Susan :)
Thanks for the reply. The crab is real, not imitation, so no sugar there. Are you sure Phase 1 isn't OK if you're nursing? My baby is 9+ months, and eats a lot of solids too, so he's not entirely dependent on nursing. If I go to Phase 2, though, I'm assuming carrots are OK?
I'll try eating a bit more and see how that works. I'm definitely not hungry, and don't have carbo cravings, but guess I'm still perplexed - you seem to be saying I'm not following Phase 1 quite right (which I appreciate) and that may be why I'm not losing, but I don't understand how going to Phase 2 would help. Anyway, thanks for the Phase 2 guide!

I remember a "Daily Dish" email that instructs nursing mothers to go directly to phase two. Also LaLeche League and "Breastmilk Boutique" recommend a phase 2 type of diet if carb restricting while nursing. For some reason cutting carbs will cause a reduction in the amount of milk you produce, not within 24 hours of the change but more like 3 or 4 days later. Also, it can slow down your letdown, causing imaptient baby.
Congrats on nursing this long! That is fabulous!

ps I learned about the reduction in milk supply the hard way -- got the daily dish msg. about 1 wk. after my first attempt on South Beach -- wondered why baby was so fussy (duh, Mom, I'm hungry.....) anyway, just added carbs back and milk came back fine
