Confused Atkins w/ South Beach

I thought I started the South Beach Diet a little over 2 weeks ago, but I began reading the book last week, and realized that I was actually doing more of an Atkins diet (I thought they were basically the same for the 1st two weeks). So, I've been eating mostly lean meants, except chicken (I like dark meat), salad vegetables and I've had regular cheese almost every day. Also, I eat Atkins Butter Pecan ice cream almost everyday.
Now I know that I shouldn't have eaten the cheese, since it wasn't low-fat, but what about the ice cream; can I eat that? Since it's been over 2 weeks now, should I start over doing Phase 1 of the South Beach diet the correct way, or should I just move to Phase 2? (I've lost 7 lbs. in the 2 weeks I've been dieting.)

I would move on to phase 2 if your cravings are gone... just switch to lower fat everything, make sure you get your veggies in, and go slow reintroducing carbs.
