What's for breakfast?

I am starting the SBD today...for the second time. I am having problem finding things to eat for breakfast. My usual breakfast was whole wheat toast with PB, or steel cut oatmeal. But since I can't have that for 2 weekss...Is there something other than eggs that is good for breakfast? I got really tired of eggs. Yogurt, cottage cheese? Are these OK? Thanks! I really want to succeed this time!

I am on day 7 of SBD-phase 1!!!

I totally understand that you are giving up your typical breakfast for awhile! My breakfast pre-SBD was raisin bran!! Still miss it. My breakfast has been primarily the Veggie Quiche from the book, but modified. (Modified version typed below). I know we aren't supposed to have sausage or bacon, I put those in a couple of time last week. I am learning to gulp V-8 Veggie Cocktail in 5 gulps...it's healthy, but still not my favorite.

in peace~

Veggie Quiche/Modified

3/4 cup of low-fat shredded cheese

3/4 cup of egg substitute

1/4 cup of chopped onion

1/4 cup bell pepper (all types are yummy)

Any veggies that you like

Optional -- meats that you like

Pour mixture into a loaf pan that has been sprayed with olive oil.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Slice into 8 bars...we slice them into 1/4's or 1/3's.

Yummy with salsa!!

If you can find sugar free low fat yogurt w/ no fruit ....like vanilla...then you can do that.
