Im on day 2 of phase 1 and was wondering if I could have red beans(pinto)..That has been sounding good to fix in the crock pot...thanks in advance..

In Phase 1, Dr. Agatston recommends the following beans: black, butter, chickpeas, green, Italian, kidney, lentils, lima, pigeon, soy, split peas, and wax.
In Phase 2, you can reintroduce navy beans, pinto beans, and black-eyed peas, all of which have a higher glycemic index.
