My cholesterol is high, trygiclericides out of the roof (1070). I've been
on weight watchers and most recently fat flush. Of course, every time I stop
I gain again, but I guess it's time to get serious. My doctor suggested the South Beach diet. I've been reviewing as much as I can on the internet, haven't gotten the book yet. It seems like a lot is very similar to the fat flush. What I need to get started before my book gets in is some guidelines and recipes for phase 1. Do y'll have a listing of recipes posted somewhere that I might look at. A lost of the roasted veggies and chicken recipes are a lot like the fat flush, but I don't want to get on the wrong track. Doc has put me on ADDITIONAL chosleterol meds and I've got 4 weeks to get on track.
thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi & welcome,
You have certainly come to the right place.
Check out Dr. Weil's web site taking about insulin resistance and triglycerides:

I still take the Borage oil from my FF days and use the Stevia Plus rather than Splenda. Maybe you can keep what worked for you.
Hi and welcome!
