I hope I can do this. I'm a terrible shopper with groceries. I think that's the biggest problem. I'm a bargain shopper and it's such a chore. I cna't bargain shop veggies and things.

Anyway, I need this so bad. Looking for tons of support. Anyone here want to come live with me for 2 weeks to make sure I'm eating right? LOL

Look forward to getting to know you all down this road.

Hello, I just started the SBD as well. My weakness is constantly changing...on a weekly basis. What is your weakness? Maybe try to figure out what it is that is causing you to give up. I constantly tell myself that I am going to lose weight and I end up cheating once and then I give up thinking that all my effort is ruined from that one indulgence. I have made a commitment with myself that if I mess up, it is not an excuse to quit. Set some goals. If you are gonna reward yourself...don't do it with food. Realize that you can do this and it is not about will power. A lot of people think if they mess up they just arent strong enough. That is not true. Don't weigh yourself everyday. Pick one day a week to be your weigh in day. Stay away from a lot of sugar alcohols. When I first saw all the suger free candy I was so excited and I started eating it. Boy did I pay for it. It made me really gassy and bloated. Even if it does not do this to you, I try to remember I am trying to break the sugar habit not switch it. There will be a time when we can enjoy our favorite foods in moderation but for now I am trying to get rid of the emotional attachment. I have only been doing the SBD for a couple days but I am very familiar with the book. Right before SBD I was on Atkins, it just did not work with me. SBD is much better and a lot healthier. I am just giving you advice about the things that have worked and helped me. I am sure everyone else has great advice as well. I have also found that having an accountability partner works really well. This week I planned my meals in advance for the whole week. This has prevented me from thinking about food too much because I already know what I need to buy for what I am gonna make. If I can help in any way let me know. Everyone on this site also has plenty of great recipes and encouragement. You can do this. Sarah

LoL Norma...I could use a live-in SBD-er as well! Good luck hun. We're both in the same boat it seems. Hang in there and I will too.

I'm starting to notice a trend in my days both good and bad. I've noticed that on the days that I have a nice hot lunch (usually soup and salad) I do well the rest of the day but when I have a cold lunch (tuna or whatever) I have more trouble the rest of the day. So I'm going to include soups in my lunches from now on until I get sick of them...LoL.

Just an idea I had.

LOL. I love on Long Island. I'm ready to pack up and move too! Let's go south and be thin together?? I can't live in a warm climate w/o being thin! LOL
