A few questions for starting out?

So I start Phase 1 tomorrow. Just read the book this weekend, so I'm psyched and ready! Question though... I read the post that said you don't have to follow the menu plan (good, I hate tuna), but it does say: *6 oz* V8 juice, *1* cheese stick, *2* tbsp salad dressing, *1/2 cup* egg substitute -- I guess I was under the impression that you could eat til you were full?? Which foods are unlimited and which are not? And how do you know how much if it is limited? Like how much milk or cheese can you have a day or per meal or snack?
Also, is extra lean ground turkey/chicken okay??
And, he mentions in the book about taking Metamucil to slow down the absorption of food, so would it be good to take that every day with say dinner?? Not that I've ever taken it so I'm not sure what happens to you, isn't it just fiber? What's your take on that??

You are right.
I take a fiber tablet 2x a day. 2 tab at breakfast and 2 tabs at dinner. It helps keep me full and it really doesn't effect me like a laxitive (I too was very worried about that! It just helps keep things... normal :))
Just WATCH your intake on nuts, sweet treats, and even cheeses (this is my downfall). Eat until you are satisfied but if you find you aren't happy with your loss then look at how much cheese you are eating too (making sure it is the low fat kind ofcourse).
