I'm GETTING, not losing, a pooch belly!

Hi all--

I've lost 9 lbs. on the Beach so far-- fell off for a few days and now back on... could it be possible that there is too much fat in the diet for me? I feel like my stomach is getting poochier, not flatter, and I know tummy fat is supposed to be the earliest target on SB. A typical meal day is a hard boiled egg, plain yogurt, salad with lettuce, tomato, and chicken or tuna plus a few shreds of string cheese on it, celery + or - cow cheese, more chicken, cashews, and ricotta creme, plus lots of water and one diet pop and a V8. And I'm exercising at least 3-4 days a week. I am also wildly "blocked up" and working on that, which obviously doesn't help appearances!

Any suggestions?? My tummy thanks you! Good luck, everyone!

I did not lose belly first!

I have lost arms, neck and chest..only one inch off the belly since I started and I am 22 pounds down. So don't think you have to lose there first.

Did you measure? I find it very helpful during phase 1 I lost 10 inches or so and now about 6 more inches

You say your excersing? Are you doing crunches? If they are not done right it can cause pooch instead of toned

If you are clogged take metamucil 15 minutes before each meal, it helps!

The pooch is probably a result of being blocked up. Take metamucil 15 minutes before each meal and that should help with regularity. If food is going in, and none is coming out then of course it is going to stay in your belly...
