Will an extra snack hurt?

I am in P1 and find that I am sometimes still hungry at night, if I am up later than usual. Will it hurt me to have an extra snack when I feel hungry, as long as it is SBD friendly??
Also, My DH made Caribbean Jerk baked chicken breast last night for dinner. After eating it, I looked at the seasoning bottle and saw that the FIRST ingredient on the bottle was SUGAR!! YIKES! Will this slow me down with my weight loss?? When eating out, this might also prove to be a problem, as we are unable to examine the content of spices that have been used in any particular dish, even though it might say low carb, or look like an acceptable choice. Any thoughts on these questions?
Thanks,
Kassandra

Kassandra, yes, it's okay to have extra SBD-friendly snacks as needed.
