When should I weigh myself?

I'm only on Day 2.
I would like to see my progress, but I also don't want to be discouraged if it's like 1lb, because 1lb for me can be any one day to the next. I fluctuate, which I'm sure is normal. When would I see a definite change in weight to weigh myself?

Someday's I only lose 1/2 a pound but it feels good seeing that number decrease everytime that I step on a scale. I weigh myself everyday because I get so excited to see how much my weight has dropped. I think starting next week I am only going to weigh myself one day and wait a week before I step on the scale again!
As for when you should notice results....I think that differs for everyone. I have lost 4.5 pounds this week so far so I bet you have lost some too :) The results of this "diet" actually surprised me. I am very happy w./ the SBD! :D
Personally, I "officially" weigh myself Monday mornings - after I strip down, before I get into the shower. This is the number I record and this is what determines how much I say that I weigh that week. This is also what is recommended in the book - especially if you are one of those people who will obsess over daily weight fluctuation.
But... I also "peek" at the scale at various times throughout the week, just out of curiosity. I don't ever record that number or put much stock into it. I use it to monitor how certain foods affect my body and I also see it as sort of a preview of what I might expect on Monday. But even that doesn't always work. Some weeks, I'll be at a certain weight - maybe a pound or two lighter than Monday morning. Then when the next Monday weigh-in rolls around, that pound or two mysteriously re-appears. Discouraging? Not really, because I think of that pound or two as being "on the edge" of disappearing for good. And it usually is gone for good by next Monday's weigh-in. This is what works for me - it may not work for everybody.
I think I have a pretty good handle on how my weight fluctuates from day to day. If I eat whole wheat pasta, for instance, I know I will be a pound or two heavier in the morning. But I also know that those extra pounds will be gone the next day after my body fully digests the pasta.
The best incidation of how I'm doing is the fact that my size 10 pants are falling off of me and even some of my size 8 pants are getting droopy in the butt.
Sorry to ramble. I hope this helps!

When I first started, it was neat because after just a few days I saw 3 pounds go away, then a few more, and so on. It was very motivating for me!
I am officially P3 now because I have reached my goal (actually, I lost 3# more than goal), but I follow a P2 lifestyle.
I still weigh myself every morning. Somehow, it still keeps me motivated!
