Anyone else not losing weight even though you are following the program without any cheating? I've been on phase 1 for 9 days and lost 4 pounds in the first 5 days, but nothing since then. I read all of the reviews of losing 8-13 pounds in the first two weeks of phase 1, but at this pace, I'll be way under that. And, I'm concerned that when I start to add back in the carbs, I'll easily gain back the 4 pounds. Anyone else have this experience?

Hi - Dr. A indicates that not everyone will lose 8-13 in the first two weeks.

Like, the previous message said...not everyone loses that much weight in the first 2 weeks. Have you tried combining exercise w./ your SBD program? That may help.

I lost five pounds in the first two weeks. I still went to phase two, and it took me another three weeks to lose an additional five. So, it took me five weeks to lose 10 pounds, but I am still losing even though I've added lots of good carbs. Don't be discouraged by other people's rapid weight loss - everyone is different. Once you get on phase two, it hardly feels like you're dieting because there are so many choices. Hang in there - you can do it!

I am 5'6" and started around 165. I only lost 5 lbs. in the first two weeks, and have only lost another 5 - 7 lbs in the 5 weeks since then. I also get very discouraged because it is SO SLOW! I haven't been exercising much.

Yes, I go to Curves 4 times a week and also chase around my two young children every day. I'm going to stick with Phase 1 for another 2 weeks and see if anything happens, but I really hope to see some results or I will be really discouraged.
