I am new to SBD, on my second day. Seems like a very reasonable way to live. Have the book, read most of it. It's not clear to me though if there is a limit to the portion size on the protein items. For ex, when eating steak, is there a limit to the amount? And with the snacking, should you limit the amount of nuts or cheese at one sitting? So far, I've stuck to the suggested menu plans, and the food is quite good and appealing, but I have to admit the prep time does not fit easily into my schedule. I work full time, and have 3 kids, including a toddler, and with everybody eating different things, I feel chained to the kitchen. Any suggestions about quick, on the go phase one meals? And has anyone stayed on phase 1 beyond the two weeks if they had a lot of weight to lose? Any harm in that?

SBD isn't a portion-controlled diet except for a few exceptions, which is one of the things that I love about it.
