Question about Sour Cream & Salsa

Hi everyone. Question about sour cream and salsa. I found low fat sourcream, but it has 1 gram of sugar. Is this natural sugar or is there a brand out there that has no sugar? Also same question about salsa. I've found salsa that has like 1 or 2 grams of sugar, I didn't buy it because I'm not sure if that's natural sugar like from the veggies. I'm adjusting really well but still a bit confused on some stuff. Thanks for all your help!

both are fine...the rule of thumb is 3 grams of sugar or less...or the lower the better, when it comes to things like yogurt.

The sugar in the low-fat sour cream is from lactose. In the Good Fats Good Carbs book both reduced fat and fat free sour cream are 'good' foods. I checked the label on my jar of salsa and there, too, the sugars are natural (from the tomatoes). I the book ready to serve salsa is also a 'good' food. Hope this helps.
