I am having a hard time the last couple of days. I'm really starting to want to eat carbs again. I think I'm going to move ahead to Phase II a couple of days ahead of schedule. More than anything, I'm craving the difference in food. I bought some of the Uncle Sam cereal and a bag of bread that's really high in fiber. I just need to start eating something else, too. Plus I want to be able to eat fruit as a snack now and then. I'd rather move ahead a few days ahead of schedule than fail on the diet, especially since I'm still enthusiastic about it.

Are you having cravings? I read somewhere, maybe the book, that Phase One is to get rid of the cravings. So if the cravings are gone, you've had a good loss, and just need more variety, Phase Two would be the answer. You could do a "Phase Two Lite" for a while with a slow introduction of Phase Two at just one meal, seems lunch or dinner works best so not to introduce too high a carb meal at the beginning of the day.
