Is it okay to stay on Phase 1 longer than 2 weeks? For those who've tried it, does it make any huge difference in weight loss?

Hi bj, it's okay to stay on Phase 1 for up to 4 weeks if you choose to.

Hi BJ,

I stayed on Phase 1 for about 4 weeks, with only one major blow out cheat (my dad's retirement dinner party at a super fancy restaurant! Oh well! You only live once!) Anyhow, I did hit a stall in weight gain, but I stuck with it till the big retirement dinner. Believe it or not, the week after I blew it, I lost 3 pounds! I am not saying you should blow the diet to lose weight, though! Anyways, now I am still mostly phase 1 and I add in a carb every now and then...like maybe cereal instead of eggs or couscous at dinner if everyone else is eating it. Just one carb a day, though. It has been easy to stick with, I hardly even miss the pasta, rice or bread! Good Luck!
