One week in and no weight loss

Ok, I started last Thursday, and here I am with no weight loss.  The scale was down one pound on Saturday, but that pound was right back on Sunday. Anyone else have no weight loss in the first week?  I have been following phase one with no cheating - a little overkill on the almonds one day (probably about 30 total) but that is it.  I am frustrated and wondering why I am working so hard at this for no results!  Anyone have a similar experience with a happy ending that might cheer me up?

Keep it up and it will come off. My friend that got me start on the SBD, she did not have any weight lose for about 3 weeks. Then it came off rather fast. She lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks.

I have been on it for 4 weeks

I have lost 14 pounds. and I am wearing a pair of smaller jeans today.

If you do not have a lot of weight to lose, you will find that your weight lose will be slower, but it will come :-)

Siobhan: I don't remember how much I lost in week one, but the weight loss for me as been very slow. Also, I go through long periods of not losing any weight, then I lose a couple of lbs. I only lost about 5 lbs. in the first 2 weeks. Everyone on this board pretty much says just hang in there, it will happen. I'm banking on that! Take care, and good luck! I started on 1/15/04.
