Need a sweet snack!
| Wed, 03-24-2004 - 12:22pm |
HOLD ME BACK LADIES!!!! I'm trying to not do it! I'm not hungry or anything and I still have a slight headache from sugar withdrawls but I really want to eat something sweet to satisfy not only craving but my AF symptoms too :( Is there anything that is sweet but good on our list that I'm over looking? I don't want any more nuts or cheese sticks!
TIA - vonnie (trying to be strong)

You can try one of the ricotta recipes, or just sprinkle some Splenda on some ricotta.

This board praised them months ago. I keep a pack in the car with me -- just in case!! I think they are only 5 calories!!

Have you tried a spoon of natural peanut butter? It's wonderful, sweet, and filling, and a really quick snack. If you're on phase 2, you can have PB with a pear or small apple. Also, on Phase 1 I lived for sugar free jello for dessert with my lunch. Peach flavor is my favorite, also strawberry banana.

I know that Karen.
Karen :)
Today I brought my cheesestick and some celery sticks with hummus. When I start getting a craving I'll scoop a little out to keep me going.
Thanks for all the great ideas - I'm going to pick up some jello... almost one week down and one to go! vonnie:)
