HOLD ME BACK LADIES!!!! I'm trying to not do it! I'm not hungry or anything and I still have a slight headache from sugar withdrawls but I really want to eat something sweet to satisfy not only craving but my AF symptoms too :( Is there anything that is sweet but good on our list that I'm over looking? I don't want any more nuts or cheese sticks!

TIA - vonnie (trying to be strong)

Small Package of Sugar Free Jello. Add boiling hot water. Let it set in reefer for 45 min. Then add a small container ( 6 or 8 ounces) of sugar free low fat low carb flavoed Yogurt. We make cherry jello with cherry yogurt, lime jello with key lime yogurt, rasberry jello with rasberry yogurt etc etc. Later that day it is exxxxxxxxxxcellent

LOL I don't know if anyone will find this as remotely amusing as I but..."Let it set in reefer" I take it we're not talking about drugs here! I read it wrong the first time too quickly and though - wow if we let it set in "reefer" then there will be MAJOR munchie attacks later! After reading it again I realized you mean refridgerator... thought I would share my blond moment and gigle for a second!

Vonnie, don't let it set in the reefer for too long and absorb too much....you'll get the Munchies.

I think these are OK..and they are GREAT:

Beat 3 egg whites until firm peaks form, stir in 1/2 cup Spenda, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 tsp vanilla and a few chopped pecans. Bake at 350 for about 12 to 15 minutes. I like them crispy all the way through (15 min) but they are good a little chewy (10-12 min) too. They should NOT be stored in an air tight container as they need the air to stay crisp.

Enjoy!

Betty

If these aren't ok..please let me know.

I would think they were ok for Phase 1. I have a recipe for them also that I got off of Cooking Thin on FoodTV.com. I actually saw the show that she made them on and they looked good. However, the host/chef baked her's for about 45 minutes and then left them undisturbed in the oven overnight.

Yes, I have seen that recipe too. There seems to be two recipes floating around. This one is a little higher temp (350) but less time..the other at a lower temp (250) and cook longer. I think the longer, lower temp makes a cripier cookie, but this one is quicker. Think either one works ok.

This is not on the list, but something I ate a little of in Phase 1 that really haelped curb the sweet tooth. A couple of tablespoons of light/no fat cream cheese with some cocoa powder and splenda to taste. It almost tastes like a real cheesecake.
