Ok, not only have I not lost any weight - I actually gained a pound. Ugh.   I have been doing P1 faithfully since last Thursday.  I do have quite a bit of weight to lose (40 lbs!) so I think I should be losing rapidly at this point.  Not even that tom.  Here is my menu for the past 2 days.  If anyone has any insight I would appreicate it!  Thanks!

Breakfast : 2 veggie quiche cups, V-8, coffee w/splenda, and ff half and half

Snack: 16 almonds

Lunch:  Big salad with mixed greens, red peppers, cucumbers and tuna fish(probably 5 oz).  Olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing

Dinner:  Crockpot "rotisserie" chicken (got the recipe here) (just chicken and Lawry's seasoned salt), SBD surprise mashed "potatoes" (cauliflower) and little bit of salad

Dessert:  No-sugar fudgecicle

Yesterday:
Breakfast:  2 veggie quiche cups, V-8, coffee w/splenda and ff half and half

Snack:  red pepper strips and hummus

Lunch:  low fat turkey and ham deli slices, low fat cheese stick

Dinner:  sauteed left over chicken with mushrooms and snap peas in olive oil, served over mixed greenswith sugar free dressing

Dessert:  vanilla ricotta

Thanks so much for helping!

What is your liquid intake? Are you drinking enough water? I really find that green tea (iced tea) decaffinated has been helping me to lose weight. It seem's to flush out my system and makes me feel really good.

Have you thought about exercising as well? It is so nice outside now maybe you could add a little walking after dinner or in the morning.

Are you controlling your measurements? Ex: oil and V-8?

Maybe it is that "time of the month." water weight?

Those are the only things I can think of...maybe someone else would have some suggestions!

Other than that your menu looks good.

Okay your menu looks really good. The only thing I can think of is maybe water weight. Lawrys seasonong salt has a lot of sodium. So does ham. If this is the case then it is just water and you should start losing it soon. Instead of a water pill or anything like that, you could buy some fresh mint. Boil it with water kind of like tea. I add some splenda. I really enjoy it and it is a natural diuretic. Mu doctor recommended it to me. She said it is unbelievable how often you will have to go to the bathroom. Maybe try that and stay away from a lot of sodium for a little whilr. Drink more water. Sarah

There really isn't a limit on olive oil.
