Just joining you. This seems too easy!

I must be missing something. I feel fine. My first full day of phase 1 stared last Friday. I spent a small fortune on groceries on Thursday night (That’s the part that’s killing me about this!) and after a few days before hand on eating half way SBD, I went for it.

Here’s the thing. It’s not bothering me. I’ve been lurking here for a week and a half, trying to get the courage to start. I’ve seen all kinds of people complaining about the first few days. My ONLY problem so far is that I hate being restricted in my eating habits. I love food. BUT this extra 20 lbs or more than I am hauling around is starting to depress me. And none of my small efforts to lose are working at all.
So, I am going to do that annoying “post my daily menu†thing and see if anyone can tell me if I am doing it right.
Also, I should say how stinking proud of myself I am because in three days (today is day four) I have not knowingly messed up one time! I got through a weekend with DH drinking beer around me (that just about killed me LOL) and out to dinner at a friends house with minimal trouble.
Every day for breakfast so far: 3 eggs scrambled in a little bit of olive oil w/salt and pepper, and steamed spinach on the side with a little bit of park skim mozz cheese on top.
For lunch yesterday, as an example: 3 Turkey slices rolled up with a little bit of the above mozz cheese, and a little bit of Dijon must and a bunch of fresh spinach. For dinner, chicken breast (w/olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I love that with bread, but I just used it for my chicken instead. It was good) steamed broccoli, and a bowl of salad (lots of greens and cukes and some chick peas)
For snacks yesterday: Cuke slices w/Hummus and the allowed raw almonds and also two SBD friendly deviled eggs.
Maybe too few veggies? If so, I don’t know that I can make myself eat more or different kinds. I am not a huge veggie lover in the first place.
So, bottom line, I am afraid that this is too easy and I’ll see nothing for all of my self discipline. Because contrary to what I’ve read here, I have not once felt dizzy/sick/headachy or anything. A little tired maybe, but that’s it. And Iâ€ve also increased my exercise. Been working out some on top of all of this. Why would I not be feeling ill from the detox unless I am not doing it right???
