A coworker and I eat out pretty much everyday for lunch. What are some lunch items we can grab while we are eating out that are P1 friendly?
Thanks in advance!!!

I wish my coworker and I brought our lunch more often to work (save money and better food choices). But after being at work half of the day, I love the chance to get out of the office for lunch and go somewhere. I sit in a tiny office with no windows all day, so getting to leave is GREAT!!!
Thanks!!!

Jeanie,
What about suggesting bringing lunch and with the weather getting warmer, find a nice place to eat outdoors.
Chef salad with blue cheese dressing- no croutons
Salad with chicken on top- again bluecheese dressing although I try and keep to 2 Tab.
At a deli- grilled chicken and roasted veggies
Sometimes- Health food store buffet- load up with veggies and a bit of tofu

I work in a doctors' office in one of the most highly stressed areas. Going out and eating, even if it's a busy restaurant is relaxing for us. We get a change of scenery and get to get away from all the patients (my department doesn't close down for lunch like everyone else's in the office).
But to save money (going to law school, hopefully, in fall of 2005), I would like to not eat out so much.
Thanks for your advice. I love omelets and I'll try to find a deli around here that makes them.

Applebees has a VERY good chicken caesar salad.
Thanks ladies!!!

You might find that bringing your lunch is a LOT more cost-effective than eating out. Even sitting on a park bench with your lunch is good :)
Anyways, I am a first-year law student, so if you need any help/advice/whatever about law school, feel free to e-mail me at beccalinda@hotmail.com. Applying to law school is not the easiest thing in the world, esp. because there are no interviews, so ask me anything. Right now you need to be thinking about taking your LSAT... just take LOTS of practice tests!!! The earlier you start studying, the better off you are.
Good luck!
