Breakfast (about 7:30):
4 egg whites (I only eat the whites...I like them better than whole eggs)
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (cooked in 1 tsp olive oil)
One small slice of 2% cheddar cheese (didn't have low-fat or fat-free at my grocery store)
Morning Snack (about 9:45):
Walnuts (I eat until I am full, but not a whole portion)
Morning Snack #2: (about 11:15):
Light String Cheese
Lunch (around 1:30):
Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (is restaurant Caesar ok?)
or
Tuna Salad (just 1 tablespoon of mayo and one can of Starkist Chunk Light Tuna in Water) on Iceberg Lettuce
Afternoon Snack (about 3:30):
One celery stick
1 wedge of Laughing Cow Cheese
Dinner (about 6:30-7:00):
Chicken breast
Black beans
1 Sugar-free fudgesicle
Evening Snack (about 9:00):
3 egg whites (DH and I work out late at night and eat this after our workout)
Exercise (Monday-Friday):
30-45 minutes of walking/running on the treadmill
30 minutes of weight training
Exercise (Saturday):
1 hour of outdoor "exercise" (heavy gardening, walking the dog, walking with a friend, etc).
Sunday will be my rest day.
Thanks for all of your help. I'm just starting out (again). I've been a lurker on here for a while, but I hope to be more active soon. I've already received a lot of good advice just from reading the posts.
Also, here are my stats: 5'6" and 185 pounds.
