Ladies,

I am craving something crunchy and salty, and my celery and natural peanut butter isn't cutting it. Any suggestions?

How about cucumbers slices with lf alouette garlic and herb cheese spread (I prefer english, seedless cucumbers - they are crunchier).

Roasted garbanzo beans.

Sunflower seeds.

I made the roasted garbanzo beans last night. I really didn't think that I would like them. I'm a very picky eater. When I opened the can, I was kinda grossed out by the smell of them. But once they were washed, I was fine.

I cooked them for about 30 minutes and then tried them. They were still a little on the mushy side and didn't have a consistency of something that I would like. They weren't bad, actually they were kinda bland. I added salt, pepper, curry powder, and garlic to them and I also sprayed olive oil on them which really helped the flavor. Once we put them back in the oven and made them a little crispier, they were actually kinda good...a crispy, salty snack that's P1 friendly. I don't think I could eat them though if they weren't crispy.

Give them a try. They're cheap and easy to make. Now my husband loves them and wants me to make them more often!!!
