I am on the last 3 days of Phase 1. I really thought that since I have a bit to lose--at least 40 pounds, I would lose at the high end. Last week I lost 6 1/2 pounds which I was excited about. This week, I have gained back that 1/2 pound. I really thought I would at least be somewhere in the range of 8-14 pounds--I was hoping for 10.

Anyway, I am going to do away with the nuts and some of the cheese and see if that helps in the next 3 days that I have. Also, up my water.

This is just a suggestion, take it or leave it.

Try upping your vegetable intake. Try for at least 5 servings or more of veggies.

Don't go hungry.

I find I lose well on those rare days where I have the spinach quiche cups for breakfast and lunch, then a dinner of lots of vegetables and some protein. And that is with snacks too.

I make my quiche cups with at least 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese. Then I make up the other 1/4 cup with low fat cheese. I put roasted red peppers in mine, as well as the spinach. I think I'm going to try some with zucchini soon. I am too lazy to chop onions so I use dried onion flakes in mine.
