Eating when you're not hungry?
| Wed, 04-07-2004 - 3:39pm |
I'm on day 3 and I woke up with NO appetite this morning. But I forced myself to eat breakfast anyway (2 veggie quiche cups and turkey bacon). Had my snack of celery and hummus around 10:30 (still wasn't hungry then) and now I'm getting ready to have lunch (spinach salad with mushrooms and grilled chicken) and I'm still not feeling hungry.
Is this normal on SBD and should I just keep eating the recommended amounts?

Susan :)
It is not anything to worry about. I'm sure you knew that. But do keep eating at least a little all the time. Regular snacks and meals are the best way to go. But if you don't feel hungry, best to stop as soon as you are satisfied and let your stomach start to "shrink".
You are now eating the right foods and they do cut your appetite. The wrong foods may make you feel hungry no matter how full your stomach actually is. Ask me how I know this one.
Keep up the good work.
