25 g. sugar??? Need yogurt suggestions

I bought fat free vanilla yogurt thinking that was ok, but it has 25 grams of sugar. That can't be ok, can it??? I went label shopping a bit more tonight and found plain yogurt (my other store didn't have plain so I got the vanilla) and also a carb control one caught my eye, but I don't know if this is the type of carbs we need to keep low.

Which of these is best:

Stonyfield Farm Fr Van: 140 cal/0g fat/28g carb/25g sugar

Dannon Fat Free Plain: 90 cal/0g fat/14g carb/13g sugar

Dannon Carb Control Van: 60 cal/3g fat/3g carb/2g sugar

Any other suggestions for which yogurts are best in Phase 1??

Thanks,

Sue

The recommendation for Phase 1 is Non-fat plain yogurt or sugar-free vanilla yogurt.

hmmm... I never thought of adding the extract. I was thinking plain was just going to be so tasteless. I ate the dannon carb control (2g sugar, says its made with splenda) and it was really tasty.

Thanks for the answer. I will stick with the ff plain from now on. I'm thrilled to report I've lost 3 lbs. since Monday.

All of the Dannon Light & Fit are good choices, but STAY AWAY from the Carb Control!

Thank you Susan, that last post really helps!!! I'm bummed about the carb control, it was really good, LOL!!!! Maybe thats why I haven't lost an ounce in 3 days. :( (well, maybe AF's arrival has something to do with it too).

Thanks again, I will make DH eat the last carb control and I will continue my hunt for fat free plain yogurt (I've only found big containers).
