questions... What about mustard (I love Chipotle mustard)? Also, I know store bought hummus is acceptable, but what about "flavored" hummus (like pesto hummus or red pepper hummus)? What about Cadbury chocolate eggs (just kidding!)? I sure miss those this Easter! :-)

TIA!!!

All varieties of hummus are fine.

Hi Kim,

Yes, any flavored hummus is likely to be ok, so long as it is not pasta hummus, or potato hummus, or sugar hummus... JK! (I just finished working out, so I am feeling a little silly.) Things like pesto are generally OK for SBD-- basil, olive oil, and pine nuts (or walnuts if you're saving money), so as someone else mentioned, just check the ingredients.

The good news is that you'll soon find that things like Cadbury eggs don't call out to you as much as they used to. I really don't miss candy that much, though I did for the first month or two. I've been to many a store with Cadbury eggs sitting up at the register, and at least twice every Easter season I'd buy one at the register. Not this year! Doesn't even bother me, though it would be quite a treat to have one. I don't even think about it.
