Despite some initial skepticism, I am impressed!
9:00 last night, I realized I hadn't had a diet pepsi(w/vanilla) all day. This is like a drug addict going without a fix! I also had to half the sweetener in my tea because is was suddenly 'too sweet'
That doesnt mean Im completely free of cravings; I'm still dying for a 'wet' breakfast and hope I can find a tasty cereal in Phase 2 to satisfy that need
Does anyone else find the food too 'dry'? I dont mean tastewise-its just that without fruit and concoctions like cereal and casseroles, everything is solid. I find Im eating a lot of tomatoes because they're 'wet'.
I love the foreman grill-thanks to whichever cl has been touting it
It has made the family meal prep easier as I can more easily do separate entrees for DH and myself by simply using the grill and opening the oven/stovetop for my 3 boys' food(I only bought a small grill but may need to upgrade or buy 2)
Last night DH and I grilled tilapia while the boys had a carton of those salisbury steak things. WE added the faux potatoes and I put out applesauce and a loaf of store bread for they boys. Not too overwhelming on the effort end
Eventually Id like to get the kids eating better as well but....one step at a time-Ive already cleared the house of junk food!

Just a few more days before you can transition to Phase Two! And then you can start adding cereals and fruits back into your life. (I have another week or so, I'm envious!)
