Odd eating schedule. Anyone else?

So, here's what happens to me. I ALWAYS wake up ready for breakfast (I've always been a breakfast eater) so I eat my scrambled eggs, or quiche and canadian bacon with my first cup of coffee before work.
Get to work. Get going on water. Am usually ready for mid-morn snack by ten or ten thirty am. But here's where my day gets weird.
After snack, only takes about an hour at most for me to be hungry for lunch. I don't end up holding off and go ahead and eat. Literally an hour later (hour and a half at most) I am ready for NEXT snack! (I am comfortably filled and not unsatisfied after lunch at all) and so I eat it. Then suddenly after that second snack, for the first time all day I don't think about when I am going to eat again. Now I have to make myself eat dinner, and I next to never have an evening sweet. I just never want to eat again after the onslaught of snacks and lunch.
Today's Meal example (so you all can see something I am not)
Breakfast. Two quiche cups (reg muffin tin size) and 2 slices of Canadian Bacon and coffee.
Snack was at 11:30 because I was busy and couldn't get to it. But I wasn't starving. just ready for it. Celery sticks and hummus. Felt content. Lunch an hour later (feeling v. hungry) and had left over porkloin (maybe 6 oz total) with tomato sauce and green beans. Felt filled. Snack another hour later. My 15 almonds and a good size chunk of cheese. I stopped when I felt full. Now? Doubt I'll want to eat again today. I finally feel content. Not hungry and not wanting anything.
I know this sounds silly, but I can't figure out why I can get on a "normal" eating schedule and why I have to force myself to eat dinner. And usually not much of it. (in fact, last night I was a bad girl and skipped dinner altogether. i was a little hungry when I went to bed, but didn't feel like eating. Already brushed teeth.)

Hi Becky,
I think it is very important to get your meals in.
Do you tak Metamucil? Try taking it 15 minutes before your morning snack. Maybe this will help.

I forgot to bring metamucil today. I ran across that in the bathroom cabinet and thought "hmm...maybe THIS will help?" Thank you for suggesting it. Lets me know I am not too far off course. And I'll take the water suggestion today. I haven't been drinking as much as I was at first, so maybe that'll help.
Cathy, I know I shouldn't miss meals. You are 100% correct. I know that can do funky things to your blood sugar levels even when you don't feel it. It's so hard to make myself eat when I am not hungry though. Last night for dinner, ALL I felt like eating was a big serving of steamed cauliflower. I never even got to my meat, and I was filled for the rest of the evening.

Well at least I know I am not the only one! I do the same healthy snacks you do too. Odd isn't it? We'll figure it out. Let me know how the metamucil works for you!
Oh, and I need to get some green tea too. Maybe I'll run get some while on break and drink that somwhere between lunch and afternoon snack and see how that goes. My body is obviously screaming for something and I just need to figure it out!

Yes, green tea is a good idea too! Sometimes I have a cup between lunch and dinner, and it fills me up for quite a while. I also have some at night, if the ricotta creme didn't do the trick.

As far as not being hungry in the evenings, how much exercise are you getting? I find that an intense workout really makes me hungry. Perhaps you're not burning off enough calories to be hungry later on...just a suggestion, since exercise wasn't mentioned.

Thank YOU for being such an encourager and motivating me to do this. I am loving it. I tried on a bunch of stuff in my closet that I haven't been comfortable wearing in ages, and I think I am close to wearing them. A few more weeks!
