Restart Phase 1?

Restart Phase 1?

Hello everyone! I just finished Phase 1 (however I cheated 4 of those days, not in a row, thanks to blessed PMS-cravings), and while I lost a total of 8 lbs, I gained 3 of those back over the last 2 days carb-craze (peanut butter balls...I'm such a sucker for them!!). I know I'll probably knock off the 3 lbs I put back on in a day or two of going to Phase 1, but my question is, my birthday is this week, and from Thursday-Sunday, I will be at the center of many festivities. I'm going to try SO hard to be good, but given the situation, I dont want to totally deprive myself. So, should I restart Phase 1 next Monday, or just move onto Phase 2, or just do Phase 1 for a week...any one had the same problems or have any suggestions?

PS - I really love SB! I really didn't think I would but its great - my husband and I went on it together and he did phase 1 without cheating at all, and he lost 11 lbs. Just wanted to share and also thank everyone for posting questions/comments - it makes dieting easier knowing you have support!

Candace, if you still have the cravings for carbs/sweets. I would go back on phase 1 until you felt you no longer had any cravings. I know I have certain things as my weaknesses that just make me no matter what want them (peanut butter kiss cookies mmhmm!), but the first phase is really just to cut out your cravings (the fast weight loss helps too!). So maybe you could go back on it till you feel like your cravings are gone. We all have our moments when we get weak. :)
