PLEASE HELP!! one more egg will kill me

PLEASE can someone find me another yummy breakfast item besides eggs.
I can't handle anything more with eggs in it - no quiche cups, no omlettes, no hard boiled.
Is there anyway to fudge pancakes or waffles with prteoin powder that would be phase 1 approved?
i like breakfast foods and miss them (like toast, waffles etc)
i have been diligent but i get bored eating dinner items for breakfast and i'm sick of eggs
is there anything else to help me?

Nonfat yogurt, sweetened with splenda, flavored (vanilla, cinammon, cocoa?) nuts on top.
I don't know of anything that is going to replicate waffles very well, except maybe a meringue (made from whipped egg whites and baked).
hth a bit,
Kate
Hi!
I just want to share my egg situation, not that it will help. I used to hate eggs so much, I mean I was going to gag if I ate one more. I began making them for hubby every morning back in Sept. when he began SBD. I couldn't hardly stand to make them anymore! I loved toast with PB, that is all I wanted. (or cereal or waffles or donuts....see a refined carb trend here?). Anyway, after MONTHS of scrambling and enduring I now LOVE eggs for bkfst and really don't know what else I would rather have. Somewhere between Sept and Feb (probably due to finally doing SBD whole heartedly in Jan), I began to really need and want that protein for bkfst. When we are out and I can have anything on the menu, I want eggs.
I just wanted to share because I used to hate eggs SO much, too.
Teresa
I read on this board that some people eat their yogurt for bkfst.
In Phase 2 you can make the pancake recipe:
Oatmeal Pancake (P2- from South Beach Diet book)
1/2 c old-fashioned oatmeal (uncooked)
1/4 c low-fat cottage cheese (or tofu)
4 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Process all together in blender until smooth. Spray non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Add the batter and cook over medium heat until both sides are lightly browned.
Here is a Phase 1 "french toast" recipe:
French Toast SBD Style (Phase 1)
4 whole eggs + 4 egg whites
1 cup low fat or fat-free ricotta
1 T vanilla
1 T cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
4 pkt. Splenda
Beat all ingredients and pour into an 8x8 baking dish sprayed w/ Pam. Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes. I top mine w/ a little extra Splenda or sugar-free pancake syrup. Enjoy!
Hope these help!
