I am starting Phase 1 on Monday. Sunday is my bridal shower - I am getting married on May 29th and am looking to lose 5-7 lbs by then. Anyone have any words of advice....either for Phase one or my impending nuptuials?

Make sure to incorporate exercise into your life over the next several weeks. It'll help the pounds come off, and leave you looking fabulously toned. Not to mention that it will be a good time to let your mind relax.
I'd recommend that you not stay with Phase One more than the two weeks. You will need the rest of the time to acclimate to phase 2 or 3 by the time of your wedding. You don't want to be worrying about what you eat at your wedding (or your honeymoon) and how it will effect you. You will want to have internalized it all so that eating healthfully comes naturally. This way of eating does change your taste perceptions, and ability to tolerate alcohol (at least for me). And I've heard rumors of people not tolerating refined grains or sweets well after time on SB.
And for your wedding, try to keep a perspective on what's actually important: the marriage, the blessing of family and close friends.
