I was wondering... for the people who have been on SBD for a while...has there been anyone with alot of weight to lose? Like, I notice some people here started at like 180 lbs and stuff. Is there anyone who reached their goal and who started at 240lbs?

How long on average did it take.

I still use the WW support group cause I have some really neat friends on there and they are very supportive. However, after posting about my success on their today, they did get very angry about how much I had lost and how this isn't very healthy.

WW alone hasnt given me any success, however the SBD has, so I am wondering why these particular people arent being very supportive.



Just looking for some answers.

I started at 215 around January 5th- I'm down to 188. My goal at 5'7" is to be under 150 at about 147 so when I start Phase Three I can just stay below 150 then on. May lose more but if I remember, I was okay at that weight.

I think some people get angry when someone is doing something different that they are doing and they translate that into- I must be being accused of doing something wrong. It comes from validating ourselves by the opinions of others. We all do it at varying times and when it's in the midst of something very sensitive like losing weight it just heightens it. I would just find what you do have in common and concentrate on that.

I've found SBD very easy to stay on and haven't gotten bored with it- just seems like a way of eating and meanwhile I'm losing the weight. It will take a while, but I plan on sticking it out! Exercising has helped a great deal.

Hello,

My husband and I have been on the SBD for about 2 1/2 months, he started at 246, and right now he is at 220, so he has managed to lose 26 pounds in just 2 1/2 months he wants to be 160, so he has awhile to go. I have lost 21 lbs but I started 146 and now I'm 125. I agree this diet is easy once you start I would say you have a pretty hard time stopping, you do see results right away, which for me was awesome, we both stayed on phase 1 for an extra 2 weeks, and now I'm on phase 2. It's working out for us, we've cheated here and there with a few pound fluctuation but got right back on track. I hope that you give it a try! Good luck!
