Hi!

I am a vegetarian and i have more than 50 pounds to lose.

I started this diet on Monday (19th Apr) and have been very deligent so far. I also exerise for 60 mts 4 days a week and 20 mts for 3 days.

As i am vegetarian, i eat lentil pancakes for breakfast-3, 15-almonds/30-pistachios for snacks, chickpeas or kidney beans for lunch, soy nuts for snacks, and when i come home, i am starving!! so i eat 2 more lentil pancakes, then have a medium salad for dinner and a ricotta desert.

Is this okay?? I sometimes substitute, soynuts for hummus and veggies.I drink 8 glasses of water too.

I have lost only 2 pounds so far.. I have my wt both on my hips and lower stomach.

Also yest, me and my husband were so tired, so we got carry out from a middle eastern restu. We got falafal and a halloum salad (spinach and cheese- with olive oil dressing)- is that okay?

Please tell me if i am going wrong? I am very happy about the 2 pound loss, but wish it was 4 ;)

Here is the Phase One Vegetarian from a post by Susan:

You can also use the "find messages about" above for others. Check out the baked "garbanzo beans" recipe- very good. Why don't you post a typical day's food of by breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert and perhaps someone will be able to see if it looks right.

Good luck!
