Hi everyone! Well I started last week and then got a little off course by the end, so I'm restarting. Dang college party weekends! However, I graduate in 2 weeks...yay!!

So, I just wanted to stop by again and say hello. I'm sure I'll be here a lot in the next couple of weeks for support!

Celery sticks with peanut butter (Smuckers all-natural)

Caesar salad (no croutons, grilled chicken strips)

Small side caesar salad leftover from lunch

I actually thought about waiting to start Phase 1, but I think this will be the best time for me to do it. If not, I would go out and get fast food and pizza all the time. I need a strict diet or I will cheat constantly.

I also have an ulterior motive. I am hoping that my weight loss is slightly visible by the time that I graduate because I would won't see my parents until then and I would really like my mom to notice. She's been complaining about being overweight for as long as I can remember and if this works for me, I would really like her to try it, but I don't want to be the one to force it on her. It would be better if she wanted to do it for herself.

:)

Question: If I don't eat as much vegetables as I should in the morning or at lunch, is it alright to make it up during snacks and dinner?

Just try to get 2 1/2 cups of veggies in per day!

Good luck! I am rooting for you. I know the feeling, it is hard when you feel like your family is not supportive ... but at the same time they are not skinny minnies themselves. ;) Just keep it all in perspective and remember that the most important thing is how you feel, and how healthy you are. I know so many skinny folks who have horrible blood pressure and cholesterol - just keep a goal of improving your health and feeling better about yourself!

(as for the veggies, i think that is fine, i do that, too.)

We have very similar preferences. :) This looks a lot like my typical SBD day.
