Hi there, I'm just starting SBD today with lots of motivation! I've been tossing around different plans, but I keep favouring this one. I tried it once in the fall, and lost 12 lbs. in 2 weeks. But I guess I wasn't ready to make this my WOE and I fell off. That's what I need to get a handle on, making this a new and healthy way of eating. I tend to forget I need to do this if I'm to become the healthy and fit person I want to be!

I think my menu plan today is alright, but I'd like to share it with you for any advice to improve it:

Breakfast - 2 egg omelet with mushrooms, and 1/2 cup tomato juice, 1/2 cup 2% milk w/coffee

Work out at Curves

Snack: LF Mozerella cheese string

Lunch - large tossed salad with 1 can tuna, 2 tblsp. light Italian Dressing

Snack - this afternoon, I'm going to have celery and hummus - my favourite snack

Supper - grilled steak sliced on a bed of romaine lettuce, a couple cherry tomatoes, green peppers and cukes; also sugar free jello - another favourite!

Hoping I won't need a snack tonight, I find once I start snacking in the evening, I don't stop?

Hope you all have a great day!

Welcome, Debbie! I'm on my second week, and feel great. I've also lost 12 pounds, including one inch of fat from both my hips and waist, and another inch and a half on my thighs.

As long as you remember to eat your snacks, your cravings shouldn't be too bad.

Best of Luck,

Holli

I agree with you on the evening snacking. If I have the ricotta I'll have it along with dinner. After dinner I'll have a cup of herbal tea and that's my signal to myself that eating is over for the day. I was never much of an evening snacker so I didn't want to start the habit. I go to Curves too! The first week or so I didn't have the same energy-especially if I went in the morning. Now I have tons of energy- and no cravings. The SBD just gets better and better as you stick to it.
