I have been checking out the postings on this message board for about two weeks now and toying with starting SBD. I have decided to commit myself to this and am eager to see what lies ahead.
A little about me: I'm just married, work full time and go to school at night. My husband was on BFL before he meet me and was very successful with it. Once we were together we both let our eating and excercise habits go down the drain...we are paying for it now with all of the extra weight that we have put on. He's willing and wanting to start a plan with me...but expects me to prepare and plan everything for the both of us. That was a bit difficult for me to do with BFL so I am hoping to have better success with SBD.
One concern about starting, would like any input on: I am not in the habit of planning meals ahead of time, does anyone have a good way to get this done or tackle this issue?
I apologize for writing so much, I just have so much on my mind at the moment! :)

Hi and welcome to the beach!!
My suggestion is to plan only 2 to 3 days ahead. Plan your meals and snacks and make a shopping list. I would do the plannig and shopping on a Sunday in case you need the time to pre-cook or pre-package a few things for the next couple of days.
This is how I started out almost 8 months ago! After the first week, I really got the hang of it and planning and preparing meals is second nature now.
