Wendy's chili, ok for phase one?

I was wondering if the chili at wendy's is ok for phase one? I'm praying that it is because today was another one of those hairy days, and I'm running all over the city. I had an omelet for breakfast, and after my workout around 2oz of chicken and flew out the door. i plan on getting in all of my veggies tonight with a huge salad.

Well, here it is 2:00 and I'm just plain hungry and I have nothing around in the car, don't want a salad, and wendy's is across the way, so I thought chili...hmm that should be alright. I ordered the small and only ate a quarter of it because I wasn't sure if it is ok to eat in this phase. i hope on my lucky stars it is because I would be bummed out if I blew it by eating this. I'm feeling a little more satisfied but still hungry, so I've gotta go find something else to eat. I did an intense hour of aerobics this morning and I think it's got to be why i'm so hungry today. Anyhow, if you know the answer to my question please post. If it was wrong for me to eat that quarter of the small chili, please tell me how i should rectify my mistake. thanks so much Suznane

I think you are right about the planning. The problem is i don't always have a predictable routine. I am a stay at home mom, but am very much on the run with my son, the gym, general chores. Breakfast is pretty much the same everyday..it's after my workout that I am rushed to feed my son, change out of workout clothes, then he is usually done his lunch by then and wants to go outside and play. When he is in school, after my workout I'm usually running out to the store and have limited time to do what I need to, thus feeling rushed. I know it only takes 10min to eat but I generally opt not to and just get moving on my chores. I think another key is to have readily prepared foods on hand so that it's basically a grab and eat kinda thing. I just finished chopping up all different types of peppers, onions, cucumbers, and cleaned lettuce. Boiled half a dozen eggs too. That way i know there is something there almost ready to eat and easy. It's funny I just wrote a post this morning saying all is well, and today has been my hardest day yet. I miss the convience of the carb snacks, and the variety. But as my husband said(as he munched away on wheat goldfish crackers) was, "what's worth more to you, these crackers or your health?" Ya know he's right! I didn't go off plan, and just watched him eat those darn crackers, man oh man I hope this will get easier instead of harder. Day one and two were a breeze, day three harder but manageable, day four, today..really hard. Let's hope day five will be less of a challenge. Thanks for your help. Suzanne
