How's progress coming?

Just wanted to check in with everyone who started on Monday.

I was at 143 when I started trying to lose weight, 139 when I started strict SBD on Monday of this week.

Now my numbers are:

143/139/136 ... I want to end up around 125 and then re-evaluate from there. Only 11 more pounds to go. Eleven pounds sounds like a small number, but I have not seen 125 since high school!!! :) This would be a huge "victory" for me.

I am hoping by the end of the 2 weeks I will be on or close to 130. Then it is a matter of 5 lbs. I am trying to mark my progress by breaking each 5 lb barrier. :-D I am very progress-oriented, which is part of what has caused me to give up on weight loss in the past (not seeing a noticeable difference after a month or more of working out).

I actually got my first weight-loss compliment at work yesterday. I ran into a co-worker whom I hadn't seen in a few months. She actually said "Wow don't you look skinny!" I was thrilled. I'm going to try to remind myself of that feeling any time I am tempted.

I'm interested to see how others are doing! Post and let us all know how your numbers are looking, and how you are feeling.

GW 85 ~ I just want him healty!! Plus he should be picking back up on Karate and I know he does't want his sinsa to see the rolls.


His dojo also offers Kick boxing, maybe since I'm starting to feel like I have energy I'll have to look into that. LOL!

Gosh isn't it great when others notice your progress? You feel like you are doing good things but that helps make it feel like you are really accomplishing something!

Keep up the great work. I'm still waiting for the complements to come.lol Today is day five for me..started on monday. So far this is how it's gone..day 1,2 easy, easy, easy. Day 3,4..harder with more cravings(not sure why). Day 5..so far no real cravings, just feeling really tired. i could barely make it through my morning workout. My muscles feel like bricks and are so tired. Not sure why, i workout daily for at least an hour so this is strange. Maybe it's the lack of carbs that would give me a boost before. I do weights three times a week, with 30min of cardio, and on alternating days I do aerobics for an hour+. I get loads of exercise as you can see.

So far my progress is as follows..

SW..233

CW..206

GW...150 for now

Pounds lost since starting on monday..7.5 - 8lbs(depends on how I step on my silly scale)lol

Keep up the great work..keep us posted on how you are doing as time goes on.
