i thought the first days would be bad but they seemed to be fine. now on day 7 i'm feeling like crap. i'm feeling dizzy, naueated, pretty much like i'm gonna pass out- i couldn't even eat tonight i felt so bad. it first started last night & i thought i felt this way cuz i wasn't eating enough but when i forced down breakfast i felt even worse- same at lunch (and no i'm not pregnant LOL). i'm well hydrated too so that's not it. any ideas on how to make it go away?? is it normal to feel bad AFTER going through the first week?? thanks!

You sound like me. I hit day 6 and seven and the yucky feeling started. I have just lost my appetite. I have been having dizzy spells but I attribute it to trying to wean my some from nursing. He is eating 3 meals now and is ready to stop. I have only lost about 3 pounds in the first week as well. I am a bit discouraged. I will keep trying and start to exercise more Hopefully I will feel better soon. Just know you are not alone. Thanks Johnna

Hi, I'm new here but I might have some input. I felt like that after 1 week but I shoved myself through and it went away. A lady at work goes to a dieters support group and some are on SBD and complained about the same thing. The group leader suggested it is all the toxins coming out, basically a withdrawal from all the junk that had been going into our systems. I feel great now!! But I felt like I had a bad case of the flu after the first week. Now I feel that way if I overload on carbs! I've been doing the SBD seriously for 4 weeks now and have lost 18 pounds. I have 75 more to go - this was doctor recommended after my annual checkup. But hang in there, your body will adjust and thank you later. Don't give up and go back to your old eating habits. Then you just have to go through this awful feeling again. Barb
