Cornstarch off limits?

Hi, i was making myself am early dinner today and I thought I would be able to use a hot pepper relish to top it for added flavor. I looked at the ingrediants and noticed it had cornstarch in it..kinda in the middle of the ingrediants list. I figured it was starch so didn't eat it. Was I right? I love this relish, and hope i can have it in this phase. The label had no calorie, fat, or carb count on it. Suzanne

You were right in your assumption that it wasn't a phase-1 friendly food.
