You don't have to drink v-8 for breakfast, just try to get 1/2 cup of veggies some other way...like add some to your eggs, or have a cut up tomato with salt & pepper on the side, even add some salsa to the top of your eggs...it doesn't have to be v-8 if you don't like it...I don't either!
You could eat a tomato. You could even broil it and top with a little low fat cheese. You could even slip in a little tuna fish too. Yes, for breakfast. Be adventourous.
How about celery sticks for morning snack. Or cherry tomatoes for snack.
I think of tomato and tomato juice as a vitamin source. So any veggie that is full of vitamins and other phytochemicals would work too. Another thing you get is fiber.
Step away from the V8!
